New Life Story

Recently Bianca (pictured above) was baptised at ICM's City Church Dublin.

I'm sharing Bianca's story with you today because your gifts and prayers have helped her find her way to Jesus through ICM.

Bianca’s story

For most of her life, Bianca was a skeptic. She believed that God and religion are responsible for the world's problems. Until three years ago when a remarkable change occurred.

Curious about the faith of one of her close friends she started bombarding her with questions about it.

Sometime later her friend gave Bianca a Bible, which she hesitated to open for months. The daunting task of where to begin overwhelmed her.

“I eventually took the plunge” – said Bianca. “And I am so grateful I did. God opened my spiritual eyes, and I began to see the world through different eyes.

Trusting God, however, was a gradual process. I went to City Church Dublin and was welcomed by the community, although at times I felt I lacked the spirituality others seemed to possess.”

One Sunday after a church service, Bianca turned to her Bible for solace, crying out to God for guidance in her journey of trusting Him more.

At that moment, she opened the Bible and read Psalm 34: "I sought the LORD, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears..."

There and then, Bianca knew she could trust God completely.
